Hello and welcome I'm Anne Bartlett, and I am proud to be one of the founding ambassadors for the Great West Way, one of the premier touring routes of the world. It brings together some of England's most famous destinations and attractions that stretch across England between Bristol and London. I'm keen to show you some of our spectacular history and heritage so if you and your group are coming for a day out, a weekend away or a special summer holiday let me be your guide.

Along the Great West Way there are medieval castles, magnificent palaces and secluded manor houses, each are unique.  Many are tucked away amid glorious gardens or hidden amongst acres of rolling parkland.

The area is awash with ancient wonders, secluded valleys and green rolling hills and nestling in this glorious landscape are picturesque villages and vibrant market towns.

If you want a more gritty experience there's the area's industrial, maritime and transport history to explore.   We can admire steam locomotives in Swindon, investigate the sailing and steam ships in the historic docks as well as the aerospace museum in Bristol.  We can travel by boat along part of the Kennet and Avon canal.  We can visit the Crofton Pumping Station that has one of the oldest working steam engines in the world.

Come with me and I will guide you and your coach party around your chosen destination - a land of breathtaking sights with picture-perfect towns and villages that nestle in rolling unspoiled countryside.  There's a huge choice of places to visit, we'll find history and intrigue along the Great West Way.
